A friend was having a dinner party (one of those round robin things) and wanted to have some table gifts for the guests. He was theming his event around Jumanji so it made sense to make the game pieces form the original board game from the movie.
I found a set of STLs and printed them out. The layer lines we actually pretty smooth (the picture has introduced a moire effect).
I also wanted to make the gifts something which has a little bit of theatre, so I made some boxes using designs made on Makerbox.com and made a logo for the lid in with a Jumanji-like font.
Painting was a combination of spay paint for the silver and ebony figures and brushed on acrylics for the jade and bone figures.
